2023 Spark 2.0 Vir­tu­al Program

Spark 2.0 will be held vir­tu­al­ly in 2023, start­ing Sep­tem­ber 13th and end­ing Octo­ber 11th. Ses­sions will be con­duct­ed every Wednes­day dur­ing this five-week peri­od and last four hours per week.

The Spark 2.0 cur­ricu­lum focus­es on cur­rent indus­try trends and top­ics, includ­ing a pan­el dis­cus­sion with indus­try lead­ers shar­ing their knowl­edge and expe­ri­ences relat­ing to reduc­ing uncer­tain­ty and min­i­miz­ing risks to make informed deci­sions, how they over­come the chal­lenges asso­ci­at­ed with man­ag­ing growth in a volatile busi­ness envi­ron­ment, demon­strate the behav­iors need­ed to estab­lish a thriv­ing, diverse, and respect­ful orga­ni­za­tion­al cul­ture that will lead them to future success.Industry trend­ing top­ics are pre­sent­ed by indus­try experts, includ­ing, Merg­ers and Acqui­si­tions: How they Fair in Today’s Busi­ness Cli­mate, a High-Lev­el overview of com­po­nents used in today’s elec­tri­cal and elec­tron­ic sys­tems and con­trols. Insights into the Semi­con­duc­tor indus­try, The crit­i­cal role of the sup­ply chain.

Self-Devel­op­ment 

Spark 1.0 height­ened the aware­ness of your brand recog­ni­tion, innate strengths, and exter­nal per­cep­tions; Spark 2.0 con­tin­ues to expand your aware­ness to include rec­og­niz­ing your lead­er­ship readi­ness char­ac­ter­is­tics, com­mu­ni­ca­tion pref­er­ences, and abil­i­ty to man­age change. You will cre­ate per­son­al devel­op­ment growth plans and con­tin­ue to sharp­en your brand recog­ni­tion through the DIS­CFlex self-assess­ment. You will have an oppor­tu­ni­ty to receive 3rd par­ty feed­back on your exter­nal­ly observed behav­iors to enhance your aware­ness and strength­en your under­stand­ing of your innate behav­ioral ten­den­cies and their effects on oth­ers. You will be able to explore, uncov­er and ana­lyze sit­u­a­tion­al trig­gers that cause your reac­tions to spe­cif­ic thoughts and feel­ings expe­ri­enced. You will gain access to your unique inter­per­son­al style and com­mu­ni­ca­tion pref­er­ence find­ings. You will learn the ben­e­fits of men­tor­ship, whether a men­tor or mentee, through a pre­sen­ta­tion fol­lowed by a pan­el discussion. 

Net­work­ing 

You will increase your pro­fes­sion­al net­work while work­ing with fel­low cohort mem­bers dur­ing the assigned small inter­ac­tive break­out ses­sions, par­take in the lead­er­ship and men­tor­ship pan­el dis­cus­sions and meet and greet ses­sions, and inter­act with indus­try VPs, Exec­u­tives, CEO, and Pres­i­dents rep­re­sent­ing man­u­fac­tur­ers, dis­trib­u­tors, and man­u­fac­tur­ers reps dur­ing the Meet A Leader session.
